Essilor Instruments USA Launches SL650+ Digital Slit Lamp
Superior image quality, innovative dry eye module, and powerful software for comprehensive reporting
Essilor Instruments USA has introduced the SL650+ digital slit lamp with powerful AnaEyes SL software that supports diagnoses with high-definition images and videos and permits an easy and time-saving everyday practice for eye care professionals. Its dry eye module can standardize exams and quantify causes of dry eye disease with five tests: meibography, NIBUT analysis, eye redness, tear meniscus, and lipid layer thickness. The AnaEyes SL software yields a comprehensive dye eye report with a quick visual summary, a color-coded scale for each exam, and pictures of the assessments and explanations of the different grades. The SL650+ digital slit lamp has a smart design and automatic functions that facilitate patient monitoring and management over time.

During Vision Expo West 2022, the SL650+ digital slit lamp was available for demonstrations at the Essilor Instruments booth and was well received by eye care professionals.
