The transilluminator features bright halogen illumination for examining the sclera to detect the presence of ocular tumors and assessment of the anterior chamber and eyelids. This high-quality instrument’s fiber optics provide cold light transmission.
For use when the presence of intraocular tumors in patients with cloudy media is suspected. The Finoff transilluminator illuminates the fundus via the sclera and any tumors present in the light path will dim the normally bright red fundal reflex as seen through the pupil.
The new long-lasting Lithium Battery Handle is rechargeable. Add the Mini Charger, and you also have the ability to plug in to a standard wall outlet for recharging.
